I shortly bought a Mod. M ser.-nr: H 9023. According to the post of Pilot 7474 it should be manufactured in 1953 (if calculated the average of pieces/years). If I follow the posted link, there is one point: firearms sales: 64 - 70, 1,5 inch Signal Pistols H 6200 - H 10481. If I calculate like before...

the one militairia has posted must be a No 2 MK I; I bought mine more than
30 years ago from former Major Christensen.

Hello Alan, mine "ship to shore" is a hardcover book, 79 pages printed in 1946. Just today I received several german brand cal. .4 cartridges (after ww 2) and enclosed in the packet was an original Schermuly tin can with included 5 cartridges for 1" linethrowers! Real fortune, never saw this before....

Hello Alan, thank you for answering! Good occasion and idea in october...! I remembered, that I had a contact in the late `80th with somebody of the Schermuly family. I was told, that there is only little paperworks they have - but kindly they sent me several original leaflets concerning linethrower...
