Hi,
A friend of mine get a LP34 flare gun. The question is that there is no manufacturer code at all.
There is an Id (7800a), WaffenAmt markings but that's all.
Does anybody could give me any explanation or explain me why the manufacturer name (or code) is missing ?
Thanks very much in advance

Re: LP without any manufacturer code
I also have at least one, the one I remember also was Waa 214 proofed indicating most likely duv manufacture.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.
I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

Re: LP without any manufacturer code
Hi,
Thanks for the confirmation regarding the fact it seems that happens only for 'duv' made flare gun.
But still no explanation about why the manufacturer's making is missing.

Re: LP without any manufacturer code
I have 2 or 3 LP34 with no manufacturer´s Code, but clearly Walther manufactured. I did not know that DUV examplse were out there.
As far as I have in mind one of mine is even Kriegsmarine marked.
