Thank you very much .
All set .Starting my mini lathe and should be an easy job.
I have a question.I believe the pin is one piece all the way even at the step down??
I hope it is not made from two pieces and threaded and screwed together at the step down.
It would be possible to make that way as well...
Also I would like to know if the hole has a set screw in it to hold the small cross pin in?
Or it serves another purpose...
Thank you very much.
This forum has helped beyond my expectations has some remarkable members.

I believe there would be a market for those firing pins. I see a lot of Lp-42's with broken and missing pins.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

The firing pin that weiss showed would be easy to make on a lathe. Is there any information on the type of steel and hardness?

I have had my LP 42 for about 50 years since I was young and I also have been looking for a replacement firing pin and spring. These pistols were decommissioned and sold with out pins and springs. Anyone with a spare pin and spring willing to sell? Need help. Thanks
