Its orginal,only a little bit worn and oily ;)

Ok, I thought the leather was finer than usual from the first pic.

I have an eagle "D", Never saw an eagle "B".

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

You find different letters i Accept mark on polizei flare gun also,someone thought at was Polizei amt Berlin.
I have LP-34 With polizei stamp and letter F.
This cleaning rod was found in a discarded party of holsters from the Norwegian Army.
