Can anyone help? I see these on Ebay from time to time, but the information on them is very sketchy at best. I am curious to know the following:
1) Country of origin
2) Time period of use
3) What flare gun they were designed for

this is a Romanian holster for the short Walther pistol (M 1934). It was introduced about 1942. After the Second World War, it was also used for other signal pistols.

Yes, this was the Romanian standard signal pistol from 1935 or 1936 to 1945
