Is it original, is it rare, what is the value etc?

Hello, Yes it is original, and yes, it is quite scarce. Rare in the USA.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.


I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

That is an interesting looking flare gun.

Does anyone have any of the details about this model? For example, its designation, caliber, years produced, and approximate numbers produced?
