Early Italian Very Pistol circa 1889

Post by signalman »

This early Italian Very pistol came after the 1882 style, and had a grip similar to the 1889 Bodeo Revolver as well as the folding trigger.

It also was manufactured with a hand grip welded to the barrel. Most were removed later, as the pistol would not fit a holster with the grip. This example still has the grip.

Serial # 843

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !
