Hello,
I found this -to me- unknown Druckknopf variation.
Unlike the "normal" Druckknopf versions, it has a hexagonal chamber/receiver and it is nickel plated.
The plating is not recent and the opening button might not be original.
There are no serial numbers, maker code or any other stamps.
What are you thoughts with regards to age/country/numbers made etc.?
Peter

Hi Peter,
This is a normal Druckknopf pistol from World War I, which was refurbished in the 1920's for commercial use.

Re: Unknown Druckknopf
Hi Horst,
Thanks for your quick reply and explanation!
I have a few examples of the standard Druckknopf in my collection.
When this one was offered, I wanted it because of the differences.
Especially the hexagonal chamber and the hexagonal shape of the frame (there were the chamber closes against the frame) got me confused.
Well, now I know...still learning !
