As most of you probably know, I am slowly selling my flare pistol collection. I may need information from time to time to accurately describe my guns.
I have a No4 Mk 1 flare pistol that is marked on the side of the barrel with raised lettering. " SMNo4 Mk1 * "
I wish to know what the SM means. Does anyone know ? ? Most of these are proofed by the manufacturer Molin ( MMC ). I assume the SM is a manufactures mark.
Does anyone know the manufacturer ? ?
