Why does this forum call the British pistols 25mm. This is incorrect. They are 1" or later called 26.5mm.
I have just joined this forum so will go through all postings as I find the time. I have a large collection of signal pistols and cartridges so I hope to contribute or correct any errors in descriptions if I can.

This is the correct British No1 Mk5 Pistol. The one shown above is the No2 Mk5 Pistol.
Two variations - one has aluminium replacement grips as the original plastic ones are fragile and crack easily.
No1 Mk 5 has a bell muzzle.
