Post by ron3350 »

Here are my only Japanese signal cartridges and they are hard to find. These are 28mm .

White Smoke. Nippon Explosives Co May 1943. Steel base.
Red Double Star. April 1944.
Green Single Star. June 1943.

Yes I was lucky. The person I bought a 3 barrel Japanese pistol from ,with a holster, found these 3 cartridges in the chambers.
Fired caps and empty but a very lucky find. I paid an extra premium , much to the seller's surprise.
This was 5 years ago now and importing any ammo or flares is nearly impossible now. Ron.

So, it means that now flare cartridges stay in the countries where they are ? No chance to switch from a collection to another one (in different country of course) ,
