Learning about flare gun ammo, shells, & cartridges.

Post by Dr.E13 »

Any one interested in establishing a section dedicated to flare cartridges?

Where we can show cartridge and identify their headstamps
or ask for help identifying the cartridge and it's headstamp.
May your collection grow and prosper.

Hi doctor,

here are two rare yugoslavian flare cartridges before 1941. There are not headstamps, but the primer are marked "BT3 K". This means VTZ (Voina technical zavod Kragujevac).

best regards Horst

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing. I never saw them before and wouldn't have known what they were had I seen them.

I appreciate.

Happy Holidays!

Okay, here are two dutch illuminating cartridges before 1940. The Army used two variants of cartridge cases - dutch production and french producktion. No headstamp, but the dutch case has a knurled rim!
