Yes, it is a German Eisfeld flare pistol Manufactured by J. G, Anschutz.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.


I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

A friend turned this up at a gun show this weekend and needed help with the ID. Now that I know what it is I have interest in buying it. Do you have an idea of value? Appreciate your help.

I sell them for $1,000. They are limited in production and like many WWI era German guns, many were destroyed during and after the wars, the one you are looking at has a high serial number.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.
