Hi,
Here a rare German Line throwing gun used in WWI. It's made by H.G. Cordes Bremerhaven. It's very heavy and the barrel is made in brass. The gun have the number 763. When somebody know more about this gun, let me know.

Hello, This is my example of the same line throwing gun. It is a conversion from an 1871 Mauser rifle. The Bolt that is shot from this gun is also pictured. Mine has a serial number of 989

The bolt is 9 3/16" long and slightly over 1 2/16" in diameter.

here the Cordes Leinenwerfer number 535 with box. Up to now, there are only a handfull of these rare linethrower known (SN 535, 564, 619, 989,1177, XY?)

The posting says it was used during WWI, but is there any information as to date of invention or production?
