Brass WWI French Signal Cartridge

Post by Dr.E13 »

I am new to this so please excuse any errors.

I have a French flare shell, see subject above, which I'd like any info that others may have.

On the base is the number 3. On the primer the name Paris is clearly written. Also there are two or three letters which cannot be clearly identified.

Thanks,

Dear Dottore,

what do you want to know about the French brass signal cartridge ?
Do you could post a picture ? As we say, a picture explains more than a thousand of words, isn´t it ?

Many cartridges were made by the cartridge manufacturer Riuggeri. The brass cartridges were still used after WW II in France, so a picture would be alsways the best. Thank you.

Signal ;-)
