German Makeshift Signal with Handgrenade stick 24

This makeshift Signal stick were produced by the German front workshops to the end of WW II. Only very few are know up to day. There are different constructions known, almost no signal stick is identically to each other. While for some other late WW II German makeshift pistols documents can be found, for this version no document is known. Does anybody know more ?
