Re: Comments on German flare Pouches
Hi Peter,
As noticed by 'Flare gun', the shown flare pouch is a NVA one. So, post-war with a faked stamp

Thanks for the replies!
I saw it for sale as an "original WW2 flare pouch" and did not trust it to be WW2.
My thoughts were confirmed by some research on the web and your comments.
I will let the seller know.
Best regards
Peter

Good,
In a certain way, it's a shame as this flare pouch is an original one for collectors in the NVA area. Unfortunately, this fake stamp is killing it.

Re: Comments on German flare Pouches
So true, it had value as an original NVA item, now it is ruined. You can even see the sanding marks where the inked NVA stamps were removed...so sad. It could still have some value to use in the field for reenacting I guess...BrunoH wrote:Good,

I'll ask the same question, is this WWII vintage? No markings and slightly different construction than the other post.
Thanks in advance.
