Hi, gentlemen.
It seems to me, we have one more fake from EBAY
Strap for Flare Pistol Holster 1941 Dated
http://www.ebay.de/itm/SIGPI-TRAGERIEME ... 6rk%3D1%26
It looks very atypically for German-made, Is’nt it?
Best regards

Re: Fake flare gun holsters, pouches and other accesories
I have had mine for over 20 years, It has the screw in steel, and the back post is cylinder shaped aluminum like the one you picture. It has makers code bmj, but no Waa, date, or other markings.
I have another that I have owned ~ 30 years, and it is all steel, it has manufactures mark "C.P. GOERZ BERLIN and is square shaped at the rear area. Again, no Waa, date, or other markings.

Regarding the above, does anyone know the manufacture's name over Frankfurt ..? It is several letters beginning with R .....UCR or T.
May your collection grow and prosper.

I also have one, found in the early seventies, whole steel produced by Goertz in Berlin. No Waffenamt or other stamps.

Re: Fake flare gun holsters, pouches and other accesories
I do not believe these Baumschraubes are fake, they may be pre or post WWII, but not fake. No doubt some will be faked in the future, but not yet as far as I know. The Baumschrabe comments should be moved to a separate thread on baumschraubes by the moderator unless these are proved to be fake.

Re: Fake flare gun holsters, pouches and other accesories
I can never imagine that this very Baumschrabe should be a fake, it´s totally out of the question. I´ve got it direct from a Swedish Army arsenal and it´s the only one I ever seing. Not even some few collectors of flareguns here in Sweden have one.
It is a pre WW II production.
Sweden bought a batch of Walther "m 34" and the "Heer" variant just before the war, and it´s plausible that those Baumschrauben where included in that batch.
This link tells something about CP Goertz in Berlin, (only in German)

This is a Fake Flare Pouch in Canvas that just appeared on WAF forum. Note the strange Nazi Eagle, along with the RB number. Also the material used, and shoulder strap.
