Lyspistol m/18

Post by Fson »

The first model of m/18 manufactured by Husqvarna. The actual gun is the original full length.

The last photo shows m/18, m/18-40 and m/18-65, illustrating the two stages of modification during shortening of the barrel.

Same type of ammunition are used for all types.

Very nice, Are smooth wood grips just a variation of the same models, or does the model designation change with the composition of the grips.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

I have never found any info about the grip variations and no pattern serialnumber vs grip type.

I just picked one of these up from Simpsons Ltd. Serial number is 136/53. Is there any data available on years of production, numbers made, etc.?

TIA!

Mine is serial number 136/53. The "/53" appears to have been stamped later and the flare gun looks like it has refurbished/parkerized. Would the 53 possibly refer to a re-arsenal date (1953)?

I have a completely disassembled husqvarna m18.
Is there anyone who can help me, possibly a picture or drawing of what it looks like under the cover.
Regards,
Eddy
