Hi Bergler,

I have a 98% euh LP42 and a 96+% Krieghoff marked Flieger-Leuchtpistole Model L that I will hopefully receive by the end of the week.

Just when I thought I couldn't get in any more trouble.....

I would like instructions for removing the barrel on an original LP-42 that does not have any post war modifications. Can someone assist? Upon first inspection, it would like all one needs to do is drive out the pin with a brass punch? I would like confirmation before proceeding.

Thank you!

Yes, you need to drive out the bolt, but hold the barrel down because the opening spring is pushing it up, Disassembly is easy, assembly a bit more complcated as you need to get the sring in place again. A bit tricky, always.
