The one box is full with mostly deact grenades 326 LP, but "normal" flares as well. It was found exactly like this......mostly grenades, but normal Leuchtpatronen 41, one russian flare, one german flare from WW1 and 3 austrian flares from inbetween the wars.

The boxes come in all different colours...green, blue, light green etc etc. Some don´t seem to be marked. The boxes can be found from time to time, but the inner part is mostly missing.

Beautiful collection. Being in the USA had certain advantages in collecting the flare guns, however, living in Europe definitely has advantages in finding flares and accessories.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.


I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !
