Thanks to "signalman" who I finally met in Louisville, I was able to complete this quest.

I bought the holster 2 years ago on "fleebay" for a good price and now have a great "rig"!

We had a great conversation while "dickering" on the price of the flare gun when we realized we actually knew each other!

Gotta LUV big gun shows with lots of friends at the tables!

Hello Mark, Glad to help. Now you know you need a Japanese Holster for this flare pistol, Not the North China Version you show in your illustrations ? ?

Yup .. correct ... the holster is North China.

Yes Mark, I have 3 or 4 of the holsters, and at least 2 of the pistols from N. China.

I saw one of those launchers many years ago in a gun shop in Port Angeles Wa.
I took a few pictures of it because I had never seen one before.
