Luft Flare Pistol

Post by gunnertwo »

This is my first "dip in the flare gun pool". I found it in a local shop. Could not resist the giant size and the LW connection. This purchase caused me to join this forum.

Beautiful condition. What is its serial number ( other side than pictured ).
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

Hello Thomas, the serial number is actually on the other side of the frame. 24483 is actually a Luftwaffe property marking found on ALL the model "L"

Here's a pic of the right side showing the serial number. Thanks for the comments. It was a good example to start with.

Tell you what, If I sell this one you will have first right of refusal. Likewise, if you think of selling yours, give me a shout. It would be rare to have a consecutive pair. Thanks.
