Can you show a picture. Circled arrow ?

A letter " C " with an arrow inside would be Canadian acceptance.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

August, 1918, Fox was awared a contract to make brass Mark IV flare pistols for the US Army.

Once up and going they were manufacturing 500 pistols a day. Production was halted with the November 11,1918, Armastice. They had manufactured a total of 4193.

Excellent flare pistol and one of the best. Used USA and Canada during both world wars.

Thank you!, you have sparked my motivation on investigating the data and have now found what I believe is at least one of the sources.
