Mod. 1917 with WWII German markings

Post by Hebel94 »

Interesting re-use. Mod. 1917 used by the German forces during WWII. The barrel has been shortened and German markings stamped.

I have seen WWII waffenamts on German WWI Hebels, but not on French flare pistols.

what is the waffenamt number?? Is it possible to get a close up of the marking??
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

I have not been able to take close up pictures of the markings, my camera is not good enough.

I think the marking below the eagle is WoA63.
