Hello. Is there any way to date a Kilgore Corp Mod B flare Toone Tenn pistol ?
Serial no. 3922; PT stamped; no other markings seen.

If you find anything on yours would you let me know, I have a kilgore also sn.#5335 with a PT near it. The fellow i got it from said he got it from his brother after he died of cancer 20+ years ago, funny though it looks brand new, still has the lanyard on it.

If anyone has any factory records on any flare pistols that could establish dates of manufacture we would all benifit from such knowledge, or at least let us know you have records for a particular manufacturer so we can request information.

for instance, This is a paper by Molly Milner That has information by serial numbers and dates of certain Webley flare pistols

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !
