This survey is still active.

The main reason for sending this post as that some people subscribe to it and I would like to advice that the forum is up and running again. After some administrative changes a couple of months ago it became impossible to submit a post, with the result there were no posts at all for a couple of months.
However things are now back to normal.

thanks for posting.

The WW2 WW Greener guns are quite scarce. I have over a dozen recorded in my data base starting at 5 with the highest being 1842. All are dated 1941.
There seem to have been two orders place by the Ministry of supply in with Greener, both on the same date. One is for 433 pistols the other is for 1889 pistols. Both these numbers seem a little odd as they are normally a round figure, 500, 2000 or whatever. Also it is not clear if the order is actually for 433 AND 1889 giving 2322, or not. As I have no serials above 1842 perhaps the total made was only 1889?
