Where are our members.

Post by signalman »

This was a pretty scarce flare pistol to find, especially in nice condition. I did not bid on it, because I already have one new in the box. This went for at least 1/2 what it is worth !

Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

This is another rare flare pistol, put on gunbroker by one of our members ( not me ). It is worth at least $500, maybe more. Am I wrong ??

Again, I have 2 variations, and do not need another, I hope one of us is lucky enough to add this to our collection.

Signalman,
Thanks for pointing to some available flare gun possible deals. I was watching a similar S&W flare pistol that ended up selling on the same site for over $550 before the holidays. Missed the one you are referring to. BTW, I am a previous buyer of yours from many years ago. Any chance of bringing your sell items to a Texas gunshow in the future? I'd definitely show up.

Another good deal, sizable piece missing from one grip ( I had one years ago with same problem - sometimes happens with the early wood grips ). ending soon.
