That is a great find, I have one shell but a whole box is truly a great find.

This cartridge is unknown to me, what is it for?

Hi,
The M-Patronen were used for setting up the artillery.
They were fired using a system that allowed to fix the flare gun in a vertical solution (I think it has been shown in a post in this forum).

Yes thank you, now I know what it is for. I search the forum but couldn't find anything on the subject. Do you know how it performs compared to a "normal" flare cartridge?

Hi,
From what I've read, its effect is a white star (that can be up to 200 meters high) with a lightning that may be visible from 7 to 8 kilometers even during the day.
But I have to admit I've never test it
