Exciting M34!

Hi,

This exciting German M34 flare gun has been presented to me.
There are no producer markings on this one, and no WaA markings.
...but is has the proof marks of the Zell-Mehlis proof house - so I would say Walther.

It is Kriegsmarine marked as well.

I would say not common with these markings.
...what do you think?

Like all navies these are scarce, not rare, however. There are actually quite a few known without the Walther banner address. I also have a few of these. It is fun trying to collect all of the different navy variations.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.


I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !
