Given the small serial number range, I wonder if the late war steel LP34s were produced for a specific contract?

I just acquired a steel LP34 "ac42" with serial number 2913a.
Strange that it has a higher serial number than the ac43 example mentioned above.

Hello, both the ac42's and ac43's were serial numbered in their own ranges from 1 to the end of production that year. The few steel examples of each of those years are scattered in the production numbers.

I currently have an ac 43 Steel Heer listed on Gun Broker for sale along with almost 70 other rare flare guns and accessories from my collection which I am selling.

By the way, I have been permanently banned from Facebook as they did not like my posting conservative political memes. Of course, I never made the memes, I copied them FROM FACEBOOK, and then reposted them on my page. I cannot use any of the Facebook flaregun sites and threads, or messenger, etc.
