the unknown flare gun is a modern italian item, you find it in black like yours and chromed as well. I would never fire this one because it is a cast iron gun and poorly made. The small one is a Berloque I think, made in Austria. It is nearly the smallest, there is a very similar one that is a single shot and therefore smaller
