Firing pin and spring for LP42 flare pistol
Can anyone give me the measurement for firing the pin diameter at its narrow point at the end ,and length to end of step up., and the distance to the end of step up? I am trying to make new pin and don't have these critical measurements. Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated. Bob

I believe that the dimensions for the firing pin were provided by another user in this section. For the spring, you should be able to use the spring from a retractable pen as a substitute. You will probably need to cut it to the proper length, which is about as long as the firing pin itself. The main disadvantage is that the replacement spring won't seat in the groove meant for the original spring, but that probably won't be an issue if you are machining your own firing pin.
