Re: Italian Model 1900 Flare Pistol - 1927 Air Force
This is my Italian Air Force Flare Pistol, Model 1900 variation 1927
I owned 3 of these over a 45 year span. Two are sold. All of them were manufactured by Beretta. Note the trigger is not the normal 1900 loop on this variation.

Re: Italian Model 1900 Flare Pistol
This example is Serial # 2. Both frame and barrel are numbered.
Take open button is flatter, not concave like on later examples.
Smooth Aluminum grips. Probably was finished in the white, it has a mostly grey patina now.

Re: Italian Model 1900 Flare Pistol
Are there any known production numbers of the M1900 and is variants?
Re: Italian Model 1900 Flare Pistol
The 1942 dated number 60; The 60 is most likely the 60th example that year, or it is an assembly number. I know of no serial number list other than V. Christensen's whose information went to Dr. Baumgarten. Wolfgang Kern might have a copy of those records.
