Here is a photo of the line thrower used by Police as illustrated in the standard Fischer's Waffen Technischen Leitfaden.
Greg Baker has a brass KM marked example. Do any forum members have a police accepted or commercially marked example? With the extra equipment?

That is a wonderful example Howard. Wonder if any police marked ones have surfaced.
Re: German WWII Police Line Throwing Gun
Hi Joe, I have three of these guns with no boxes, You mistook me, signalman, for signal again.
Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.
I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

Howard, I am going to have to quit replying. And Signal even has his Deutschland location noted and I failed to see it. Dummi, Dummi, me.

Re: German WWII Police Line Throwing Gun
Hi,
I've bought a few flareguns today, wich included 3 rare pieces. The first is a German brass line trowing gun made by Sander ( DRP 565874 ). I don't find any marks or a serial number on it. I have never seen a brass line trowing gun before. When I have time, I 'll make a picture of the line trowing gun. When somebody knows more about this gun, let me now.
The second is a English mk1 no1 with wooden shoulder piece.
The third is a French gun ( Lebel ) changed in a German caliber flare gun.
I' ll take pictures in the future for showing to the members.

Re: German WWII Police Line Throwing Gun
I have seen examples with WaA proof marks, not KM. They mainly come from Norway as they have been used after the war from the norwegian army. And I have been told from teh same sources the story that they have been used by the Gebirgsjäger, but I am not too sure about this.signalman wrote:These are the three different proofs found on my Sanderleinen Pistoles

I would be interested in seeing a closeup of the Waa markings.
