Hi,

Here is the first that I show. For me, it's a special gun. I have never seen a brass one before. There are no stamps on it and no serialnumber. Give me more information when it's possible. I hope that I can say :o

Hi, I was offered this one which I did not take because it is incomplete. The seller told me it has WaA and you see it in the first pic as well. No closeup though. I have seen others as well with WaA, in auctions. The last was a brithish auction house I recall, complete rig, with WaA.

Hi,

From al the topics who are posted, al the line trowing guns are made in aluminium, but I don't see one in brass.
Is the brass one maybe a prototype?

best regards

Hello, unfortunately most of the pictures on this thread were lost.

I just received a box for the Sanderleinen Pistole. Unlike the first picture of a box earlier in the thread, this one is shorter.

It would fit the Pistol with the barrel screwed off, several line projectors and cartridges. I am not sure if the line can also squeeze in, or if the line was in a separate box.

I am still looking for ANY information regarding the European Use of the Original Costons flares from 1859 through 1881. Photo's, Patents, contracts & orders, ANY INFORMATION IS NEEDED ! !

I often wondered why so many Sanderleinen pistols are found without barrels. Seems like in the small original boxes, you had to store it with the barrel unscrewed and separate. Very easy to get separated that way, especially when stressed in an emergency.
