Feuerlösch-Pistole/Fire Extinguisher Pistol

Here we have an advertisement from 1920s Germany for a Fire Extinguisher Pistol. The breach locking mechanism seems quite simple and lacking any serious pressure capabilities. Has anyone seen an example of this "Wolf" variety or the "Corax" version. I attempted to locate patents but was unsuccessful.

Nice old advertisement and interesting item. The fire extinguisher device/pistol was invented by Albert Wolf around 1923. During that time he resided at 80 Kurfurstenstrasse, Berlin W., Germany.

Hi,

This is the one in my collection. I think the cartridge of these is longer than the other picture. This one is made in England by "Antifyre Ltd, Antifyre House, Golden Square, London.W.1. The length of the cartridge is 275 mm. The dia. is 53 mm.

What bugs me is the text on the cartridge. It looks very much like it says

Antifyre Pistole.

That would indicate German marketing of an English product.
