Rifle Factory Ishapore 1918

Post by AlanD »

This Mk111* signal pistol appears to have been made by the RFI in India in 1918. It is one of two I know of and they are both in a collection in America. I believe they were purchased from Navy Arms a good number of years ago.

Does anyone else have one and if so what is the date and serial number please.

Regards

Thanks. I wonder how many were made? They don't seem to turn up very often. I have never seen one in the flesh.

Guns have only two enemies, rust and politicians.

Has anyone come up with more examples of Indian or Pakistani manufacture?
