Hi,
Nice flare gun built by Erma fabric, model Heer,
It seems it has been repainted ("baked paint") after war by a other army (Norway maybe). I let other collectors to write their comment on it.

Doesn't feel or look like Paint, also you can see the regular green taint where it's worn? There is white paint in the serial number and stamps.

to me it Looks like the original coating (eloxation), but I might be wrong. I have an re-eloxated LP34, and you can see the Job clearly even when done perfectly. Here, the grooves of the markings etc are perfect. My humble opinion: very nice original
