Hello, Never saw one like this before.
The Lanyard ring resembles the lanyard ring on a number of Danish Revolvers, so I would guess it could be Danish.
Is the end of the barrel threaded, can't tell from the picture ? It could be a tear gas pistol.

The end of the barrel is threaded. Yes, very likely it is a tear gun.

Some more info: its marked "pedro alcorta elgoibar", being a Spanish gunmaker from around 1910. the caliber of the barrel is aprox 14mm, with a rimmed cartige. The back of the frame has a hole to possibly fit a metal stock.
