WTS German Zinc-4 Flare Pistol - PRICE LOWERED

I have a Erma-Erfert Model Zinc-4 flare pistol for sale. Marked ayf43 and chambered for 26.5mm flares. Erma only made 10,600 Zinc-4 pistols during WWII so this one is rare especially in this condition. I have not fired this flare pistol so I cannot guarantee it‘s performance (I make it a habit not to shoot my collectibles).

This pistol is in 98% condition (I tend to grade conservatively so as not to disappoint). This piece shows very little use. The grip panels are made of Bakelite. Barrel and frame numbers match and the condition of the bore is excellent. I honestly don’t think that this pistol was ever fired as there are no wear marks on the faceplate of the frame (where the firing pin protrudes from).

The price is $825.00 (from $875.00) which includes shipping & insurance via Priority Mail to all 50 States. This may seem like a high price but condition is everything. Five day non-firing inspection period starts on the date this pistol is delivered to the buyer.

I do not ship outside the United States. Should a person who lives outside of the U.S. want to purchase this piece and has a friend here in the U.S. who would act as a ‘middle-man’ I will ship to that friend and he can send it on to you. Signal devices are not controlled like firearms so there isn’t that problem of Federal legality.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that this flare pistol is legal to own where they live. Should you not be happy with your purchase return shipping (packed in the same manner as shipped including insurance and delivery confirmation) is the responsibility of the buyer.

Payment can be made by personal check (must clear before shipment), by U.S. postal money order or by a known bank's cashier’s check for immediate shipment. PayPal may also be used (friends/family) as this is a signal device and not a firearm.
